Our Pastors
Don Holliday
Pastor Don Holliday is the Senior Pastor at Oakwood Community Church. His
tenure began on August 15, 2004. Prior to coming to Oakwood, Don has served in
pastoral ministry for 20 years in churches in Michigan, Illinois, and Texas.
Don received his undergraduate degree in Bible from Central Bible College and
has completed Master Degrees in Christian Education and Biblical Studies at
Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently working on his Doctorate in
Ministry from DTS as well.
Don is married to a charming wife, Lisa, and they recently celebrated their 20th
wedding anniversary. They have three daughters, Angela (16), Michelle (13), and
Amy (6). He enjoys teaching the Bible in ways that make God's Word practical
and relevant, dealing with the issues of life.
Don loves to travel and has a special place in his heart for missions. He has
led mission trips all over the world including places like Italy, England,
Mexico, Spain, Honduras, Guatemala, and Jamaica.

Bob Service
Pastor Bob Service came to Oakwood Community Church in 1966. In his 40
years of ministering here, he has taken care of the Lord's flock at
Oakwood with a true shepherd's heart. He is a spiritual leader who enjoys
working with people. Pastor Bob is both a friend and a pastor to all. He
loves unconditionally yet stands firm in upholding Christian values.
His walk with the Lord began when he was a child and he graduated from William
Tyndale Bible College in May of 1966. Pastor Bob and his wife Janella live in
the town of Hadley. PB loves all sports, but his favorite is golf. An avid
golfer, he never turns down an opportunity to be a witness on the course. His
identifying characteristic is his sense of humor which infiltrates every area of
his life.
To all who know him, it is obvious that Pastor Bob was called to the
ministry by God and we are thankful that he was led to Oakwood Community
Church.
