Don Holliday, Senior Pastor

Doctor Donald Holliday is the Senior Pastor at Oakwood Community Church. His tenure began August 2004. Prior to coming to Oakwood, Don served in the pastoral ministry for 20 years in churches in Michigan, Illinois, and Texas.

Don received his undergraduate degree in Bible from Central Bible College and has completed Master Degrees in Christian Education and Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He completed his Doctorate in Ministry from DTS as well.

Don and his wife, Lisa, recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. They have three daughters, Angela (17), Michelle (14), and Amy (7). He enjoys teaching the Bible in ways that make God's Word practical and relevant, dealing with the issues of life. Pastor Don would love to meet you. Come and worship with us this Sunday.

Bob Service, Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Bob Service came to Oakwood Community Church in 1966. During his 42 years of ministry here, he has taken care of the Lord's flock with a shepherd's heart. He presently serves as Pastor Emeritus and enjoys visitation. He now works out of his home office and is available for weddings or funerals.

Fran Maddock, Office Manager

Fran joined the staff in 2001 and currently serves in the role of church administrator. She assists the pastors, manages the church office, and provides administrative support to all Oakwood's ministries. In addition, Fran maintains our computerized membership files and manages the church master calendar. She coordinates facility use and does general office work.

Dennis Bierbusse, Youth Director

Dennis has been serving as Youth Director since 2003. He and his wife, Jennifer, work together in the Soul Fire Ministry at Oakwood. Bruce and Sherene Parris, SONshine Park Administrators

Bruce and Sherene Parris are the administrators of SONshine Park, our Sunday morning children's program for 4-years old through 5th grade. They recruit and train volunteers who love kids and want to teach them about Jesus. Bruce and Sherene have a passion to see children learn about God and experience Him in their lives. Oakwood is blessed to have them leading our Sunday Children's Ministry.

Cheryl Bongiorno, Women's Ministry

Laura Red, Awana Commander

Laura oversees the Awana program at Oakwood Community Church. On Wednesday nights, she appears to be everywhere as she directs the leaders and children from Sparks to Journey and everything in between. She is a valuable asset to the volunteers, the children, and our church.
