Meet Our Staff

Don Holliday, Senior Pastor

Doctor Donald Holliday is the Senior Pastor at Oakwood Community Church. His tenure began August 2004. Prior to coming to Oakwood, Don served in the pastoral ministry for 20 years in churches in Michigan, Illinois, and Texas.

Don received his undergraduate degree in Bible from Central Bible College and has completed Master Degrees in Christian Education and Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He completed his Doctorate in Ministry from DTS as well.

Don and his wife, Lisa, recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. They have three daughters, Angela (21), Michelle (17), and Amy (11). He enjoys teaching the Bible in ways that make God's Word practical and relevant, dealing with the issues of life. Pastor Don would love to meet you. Come and worship with us this Sunday.

Shane Stec, Associate Pastor

Shane joined the church staff in January 2011 as Associate Pastor. He has a B.A. in Bible, Theology and Pastoral Ministry with a minor in N.T. Greek, and is working toward his Masters in Ministry Leadership from Columbia Bibliclal Seminary in Columbia, SC. Before coming to Oakwood, Pastor Shane served for seven years as a pastor at churches in Indiana and Ohio. Shane and his wife, Carrie, live in Oxford with their three children, Sammy (9), Clara (7), and Aubree (6).

Pastor Shane oversees assimilation, small groups, the worship team and the multimedia ministries at Oakwood. He has been leading small groups and Bible studies for over 15 years and loves to help people get connected and grow in their faith.

Fran Maddock, Office Manager

Fran joined the staff in 2001 and currently serves in the role of church administrator. She assists the pastors, manages the church office, and provides administrative support to all Oakwood's ministries. In addition, Fran maintains our computerized membership records and manages the church's master calendar. She coordinates facility use and does general office work.
