Hello Great Family,

This Sunday will be a very special Sunday at Oakwood.  Pastor Ted Jones will be preaching for the first time for our great family.  Pastor Ted is Oakwood's Assistant Pastor responsible for ministries and discipleship.  He is planning to start a series in the book of James.  Come support our new pastor!

This Sunday is also "Sanctity of Human Life" Sunday.  Oxford Pregnancy Center will be here to present there work and kick off our "Bottles for Babies" campaign.  Stop by the Oak to pick up your baby bottle to fill with loose change or cash and bring back to the church by February 18th.

Please pray for Julie and I as we travel to minister this weekend.  Pray for safety while traveling, effectiveness while speaking God's Word, and overall stamina to deliver five message while keeping up with teenagers.  God willing, we will be back Sunday afternoon to watch the Lions win and then oversee our Oakwood Student Ministries in the evening.
