Adult equipping groups are part of Oakwood's Family Night and occur alongside Treehouse Ministry for children. Any adult can attend regardless of whether you have children attending Treehouse. The evening begins with a free dinner served at 5:30pm. At 6:00pm adults will move into the Worship Center for a time of prayer then to the classrooms for the Equipping Groups. Family Nights are designed in stand alone 6 week sessions, Fall, Winter and Spring.

The Spring session begins Wednesday, April 13th and two options are available for the Equipping Groups, Art Of Marriage and Anxious For Nothing. Use the links below to register or you can register on Sunday mornings at the Oak located in the Lobby.

Art Of Marriage - God can turn any marriage into a masterpiece.
Every marriage is unique, expressed by the colorful personalities of each spouse and textured by the circumstances at play in their lives. Blending these to make marriage work is a divinely inspired art form — challenging to master but definitely worth the effort. In The Art of Marriage, we weave together expert teaching, engaging stories, man-on-the-street interviews, humorous vignettes and much more to portray the hope and beauty of God's design for marriage.

Anxious For Nothing - Over the past few decades, studies have shown that Americans are the most anxious people in the world. We take the most medication for it, see doctors to treat it, and spend fortunes trying to relieve it. How have we let our fears get the better of us? In Anxious for Nothing, Max Lucado leads readers to reflect on the promises of Philippians 4:4-8. This passage from Paul's epistle contains an antidote to anxiety that will help you develop a mindset of resilience. Rediscover the power of prayer and take control of your thoughts. You can rest in "the peace of God,which surpasses all understanding."
