Equipping groups are part of Oakwood's Family Night and occur alongside Treehouse Ministry for children. Any adult (or teen) can attend regardless of whether you have children attending Treehouse. The evening begins with a free dinner at 5:30pm and groups start at 6:00pm.

Option 1: LAUNCH CLASS
Learning the basics, spiritual habits, understanding beliefs

“LAUNCH” is perfect for newer Christians or anyone who wants a solid refresh on the foundations of faith. This class gets you rooted in the essentials of Christian belief while building healthy spiritual habits such as prayer, Bible reading, and worship. Participants will gain basic clarity on what they believe and why, helping them feel confident as they begin living out their faith in everyday life.

Option 2: LIVE CLASS
Obedience, character growth, serving

“LIVE” focuses on deepening your faith through obedience and intentional spiritual growth. This class emphasizes growing in Bible knowledge and developing personal study habits that help participants understand God’s Word and apply it to everyday life. As faith is strengthened through Scripture, individuals will be challenged to live out their beliefs through Christ-like character, wise choices, and serving others. LIVE is about understanding who God is and then allowing God’s Word to shape how we think, act, and love in our homes, workplaces, and communities.

Option 3: LEAD CLASS
Mentoring, responsibility, multiplying disciples

“LEAD” is for those ready to invest in others and step into spiritual leadership. This class emphasizes mentoring, taking responsibility, and helping others grow in their faith. Participants will learn how to lead by example, disciple others intentionally, and multiply what God is doing in their own lives. LEAD equips individuals to make a lasting impact by raising up the next generation of disciples.
