OSM
6th - 12th Grade

Our goal is to offer a place for students to come together and learn that they are not alone and that there is a God who not only loves them but will always be there for them. We teach Biblical messages on topics that are relevant to the students' lives. Our team of adult volunteers love students, listen to them and enjoy spending time with them. We want to encourage students to pursue a stronger relationship with God, and learn to follow His plan for their lives.

Lights, camera, action! Students will work together in teams to create their own short videos based on a surprise theme. After filming and editing, we'll watch each group's masterpiece and celebrate everyone's creativity. No filmmaking experience required—just come ready to have fun and work with friends!

Thursday, June 25th

We have 12 lawn tickets available for the Toby Mac concert. Tickets cost $40 each and are available "first come...first serve". The bus will leave Oakwood at 6pm.

Students can bring a blanket or a "beach" chair to sit on. According to the Meadow Brook website...

  • Guests are permitted to bring “beach style” chairs for most amphitheater shows. Camping chairs or chairs more than 12 inches from the ground to the bottom of the seat (when unfolded) are not permitted. Due to our no-bag policy, any bags that accompany chairs are not permitted. This is subject to change based on different tour or show requests.
  • Lawn chairs are available for rent for $10 plus a $5 refundable deposit. Location is on the main walkway between the main gate and the pavilion.

Whether you're a seasoned player or have never picked up a paddle before, this night is for you! We'll spend the evening playing pickleball and enjoying some friendly competition together at Seymour Lake Park. Come ready to play, laugh, and hang out with friends. Bring a paddle if you have one.. We will also have extras for those that don’t have one.

One of our biggest events of the summer is back! Students will be divided into teams and compete in a variety of games, challenges, and competitions throughout the night. Tribal Wars is packed with energy, teamwork, and plenty of opportunities to earn points for your tribe. Wear clothes you can move in and get ready for an epic battle!

MELO Night is all about spending time together and building relationships. Students can enjoy games, activities, snacks, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends and leaders in a relaxed environment. It's a great night to invite someone new to OSM!
