Hello Great Family,

This Sunday...

Love Offering For Oakwood's New Sign:

  • There are two ways to give.  First, you can give online by clicking here.  Choose "Annual Celebration - New Sign" from the drop down box and give your gift there. Second, we will have special envelopes available on Sunday that are labeled, "Love Offering For Sign".  We ask that you place any gift into that specific envelope to make sure that it is designated to the Sign love offering.  Any offering not in the specific envelope will be considered a regular tithe.
  • Please remember, giving toward the new sign project is a love offering.  It is different than your normal giving toward our church budget. We don't want you to neglect your "Tithe" in order to give toward the sign.  If you are able, please give generously. Our goal is to raise another $10,000 on top of the generous gift of $10,000 we have already received to kick start the project.

Oakwood's Annual Celebration:

  • 10am - Worship Service.  The service will open with a musical number featuring our newest guitar players who recently completed the "Guitars for God" lessons.  From there, we will have great praise and worship!  The sermon will be from Matthew 1:1-17 (I promise it will be short and to the point!).
  • 11am - New Members. We will be introducing 12 new member candidates at the end of the service.  xciting to have these people join the church!
  • 11:15am - Baptism Service. We will be heading outside to watch four individuals follow the Lord in Believer's Baptism.
  • 11:30pm - Lunch. You do not need to bring anything. Just come and enjoy meeting and talking with the great family at Oakwood while eating Hamburgers and Hot Dogs off the grill. No cost...just give toward the New Sign!!  There will also be lots of activities for all ages. The theme is, "Roman Games".  Since we have been in the book of Romans for so long, the team has decided to run with it and make all our activities have a Roman theme (Bring on the Toga!). Plan to stick around and enjoy the great day!

God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
