Hello Great Family,

This is the last Sunday of two services before we move to our summer schedule of one service at 10AM.  I hope to see you at either 9AM or 11AM. We will be looking at Acts 4:23-37 where God’s Spirit shakes the floor. Please take time to read this passage ahead of time to be prepared.

Looking forward, I want to highlight several opportunities:

  • 9AM Saturday, May 17th – Men’s Bacon & Bible with a service opportunity. Come help us tear the barn down and get everything on the burn pile.
  • Sunday, May 18th – Discover Oakwood. This is a free lunch meeting for people wanting to know more about Oakwood. We share the church’s history, purpose and ministries. Must be signed up to attend.
  • 6:30PM Wednesday, May 21st – Final parking lot project information meeting. If you haven’t been able to attend one yet, please join us to get informed and ask questions.
  • Sunday, May 25th – Start summer schedule of one service at 10AM
  • Sunday, June 1st – Membership meeting after the 10AM service to affirm leadership slate, annual budget, and loan for parking lot project. All documents have been mailed to members and are available in printed form at the Oak.
  • Sunday, June 8th – Annual Celebration Picnic following service. Tickets and information available at the Oak. During the service, we are also celebrating our graduating High School seniors.
