Hello Great Family,
We are excited to announce our upcoming S.O.S. (Serving Our Savior) event, a special opportunity for us to come together in faith, fellowship, and service. As a community rooted in Christ’s love, this event gives us the chance to be His hands and feet—reaching out to the “fatherless and widows” in need and strengthening our bonds with one another (James 1:27; Isaiah 1:17).
We need you! Whether you're gifted in service, cleanup, logistics, or simply have a willing heart, there is a place for everyone to serve. No act of service is too small when it's done for the Lord! This event is for all ages! (children must be supervised by parent)
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, May 31st
Time: 9AM
Location: Meet at Oakwood for prayer and assignments, then be sent in teams to the House of Providence and Cheryl Nalian’s home.
If you feel led to serve, please sign up at the Oak on Sunday or speak with Doug Kowalski after the 10AM Sunday service. You can also contact the church office to sign-up or click here to sign up.
Wear solid work shoes, work gloves, and your S.O.S. T-shirt (available for $10 on the day of event). Plan on doing outdoor lawn maintenance, landscaping, weeding, brush clearing, etc.
Let’s come together as one body to make this event impactful and effective. We are so grateful for each of you and your willingness to serve. May God bless this event and each hand that helps make it happen.
God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
