Hello Great Family,
Thank you for the beautiful, one-of-a-kind, art piece that I'm calling the "Pastor's Study". It is beautiful and meaningful because it was created by Oakwood's own artists. I will have it on display at the cafe' this Sunday. Also, thank you for all the cards with words of encouragement and blessings. You are truly a loving and caring congregation.
I also want to thank everyone who made our annual celebration such a wonderful event. It takes a lot of servants to provide food, fun and fellowship for our growing family at Oakwood. We should honor all those who set up, served, worked hard, and cleaned up. It was a marvelous day!
This Sunday we are starting a new sermon series called, "Biblical Worldview". We will define what it means and explain why it matters. A Biblical worldview is important because it provides a framework for understanding the world, ourselves, and God's role in our lives. It offers a sense of meaning and purpose, guiding ethical decision-making and shaping how we interact with the world. This worldview also informs our understanding of history and our place within it, helping us to see the world through a lens of redemptive hope and God's plan. I highly recommend you attend through this series or participate online if you are unavailable to attend in person.
I hope you can include our 10AM worship service as part of your Father's Day plans. See you Sunday.
God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
