Hello Great Family,

Has God been challenging or confronting you about something lately?  Have you responded in obedience? James 1:22 says, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."

Two Sundays ago I shared a message about being a disciple / follower of Jesus. Are you a disciple? Are you a follower of Jesus? How do you evaluate your life based on Jesus setting the standard of denying yourself, taking up your cross daily and following Him?

Last Sunday the message from Acts 8:1-25 was about being a Gospel extender. Are you actively sharing the Gospel with lost people in your family, with your neighbors, at work, at school, at the store, at the gas station, anywhere and everywhere?

This Sunday we will be looking at Acts 8:26-40. We will see God's providence through a divine appointment arranged for Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch. You will be challenged to look for the divine appointments God has arranged for you and others in your life. Take the time to read this passage over before Sunday. Prepare your heart to receive what God would have for you to hear.

I believe God is doing a mighty work at Oakwood! I know this from the testimonies I am hearing from you weekly. When God moves His people and His people obey Him, He has surprising results in store! I can't wait to see what He is going to do through you! May God bless His church.

God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
