Hello Great Family,

Here is a major update and breaking news about our "Paving The Road Ahead" project. Due to the weather (and other delays), our paving contractor cannot put the final topcoat of asphalt on the parking lot until consistently warmer weather this Spring. No need to be discouraged! There is great news that comes with this announcement as well.

  1. We have a base coat of asphalt that is smooth and free of tripping hazards. It makes our parking lot 100% usable this winter (you would think it was finished).
  2. We are having some striping done so you will know the basic parking space layout.
  3. The turn around loop is 100% usable. Feel free to drop-off and pick-up this Sunday (but do not park there!).
  4. We will have one less winter of harsh weather on our newly completed parking lot!

Our contractors will now focus their work on three projects: Pouring the pavilion cement pad; Erecting the carport and the pavilion structures; and back filling the grassy areas around the lot and sidewalks where they dug to do their work. You can expect things to start looking good soon.

This Spring, when the weather is consistently warmer, our contractor will put the finish coat of asphalt over the entire parking lot and entry drive and then the final, full striping job will be completed.  We hope to have a dedication of the parking lot and Service Park on June 7th at our Annual Celebration.

Thank you for supporting this project and patiently waiting to see the finished product!

This Sunday we will be looking at Acts 9:1-20 in our, "God's Presence, Power, and People in an Upside Down World" series in the book of Acts. This will be one of my favorite messages to preach in the entire series!  We will also celebrate Communion together. Hope to see all of you this Sunday!

God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
