Hello Great Family,

Well, that was an interesting week! On Tuesday at work, I started to experience chest pains that would not go away. Julie took me to the hospital, where I had a heart cath, discovering two blocked arteries. I now have three stents in place.

I was released from the hospital Thursday afternoon and happy to be here writing the great family of Oakwood today. We are thanking God for His "early warning system" that sent me in for help before I had a major heart attack. Prayers are needed now for the new "healthy heart" lifestyle I'm told to embrace and all the bills that will start rolling in around Christmas.

I will be taking it easy for a few days. Pastor Ted will be preaching this Sunday, but I will be in attendance enjoying the worship with the great family of Oakwood.

"Cardboard Testimonies" pictures will be happening in classroom #1 between the two services. Please participate by writing what God has done for you and sharing it with our great church family. Let's celebrate our great God by sharing our "God stories".
