Hello Great Family,

Wow! You truly are a "Great Family". The response for sponsoring Hope Buckets has been incredible. The "Oakwood Cares" offering on Sunday almost hit our target goal and that is without counting the online giving toward that fund. With all that said, one would expect that our general fund giving suffered...Nope! You are a marvelously generous people and you respond to big challenges in BIG ways! I thank God for you and I am proud to be your pastor!

I have only one more request for you. Let's all make a BIG effort to invite people to attend our, "Simply Christmas" sermon series on Sundays in December and to our Christmas Eve services (11am & 2pm).  Please take several invite cards from the Oak and give them out anywhere and everywhere. The best invitations are personal invitations! Choose someone or some people and specifically pray for them and then make a personal invitation for them to join you here at Oakwood. God could use this to bring people to Himself through your efforts. Be brave and be bold. Do your best!

It is going to be really cold outside on Sunday but it will be really warm inside here at Oakwood. We have warm hearts, warm smiles, warm greetings, and warm worship. If you can travel here safely, we look forward to warming your spirit!
