Hello Great Family,
Another Christmas season has come and gone. I can't believe that everything we had planned has already been completed. Perhaps you are feeling the same way about all the special meals and cookies baked and decorations put out and packages wrapped. Now we have left-overs crammed in the fridge and cookie crumbs everywhere and dread thinking about having to put all the decorations away and garbage bags full of paper and boxes. It seems that nothing we do lasts forever. We just have moments.
That is why the message of Christmas is so important to us. What God did in a moment will last forever. While everything we do is temporary, God did the eternal. The gift does not need to be wrapped again...it was perfect!
I hope you have had your "moment" that will last forever. I pray you have believed that God sent His Son to die for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead. It is my prayer that the message of "Simply Christmas" has taken a permanent place in your heart.
See you Sunday (9am & 11am) for our final message in the "Simply Christmas" series.
God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
