Paving The Road Ahead

Hello Great Family,

Thank you for your overwhelmingly positive support of our “Paving the Road Ahead” parking lot and service park project! We are excited to share that 97% of the vote was in favor of moving forward by securing a loan to begin the project as soon as possible. I am truly grateful to be part of such a supportive and faith-filled church family.

We have set an ambitious, yet achievable, goal of raising $300,000 by December. To help visualize this goal, we’re breaking it down into 200 parking spaces at $1,500 each. While we’re not asking anyone to purchase a personal parking spot, we are inviting you to give generously so that others can park here and experience the blessing of Oakwood’s ministry.

Whether through a one-time gift or a monthly contribution, we encourage you to give in the way that works best for your family. Please remember that this is an offering above and beyond your regular giving, as we still need to meet our ongoing budget and expenses.

Would your family consider sponsoring a space—or perhaps even more than one? Not everyone can afford to sponsor an entire parking space but every donation will go toward filling a parking space. Small donations add up to big results! We’re not asking for equal giving, but equal sacrifice. Let’s each prayerfully consider what God is calling us to contribute to this meaningful endeavor. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.

You may also give in person at Oakwood by clearly indicating that your gift is for the “Paving the Road Ahead” parking lot/service park project.  You can check the progress by looking at the display in our lobby each Sunday to see how many spaces have been filled.
