Hello Great Family,
As we pause today to remember September 11, 2001, we reflect with solemn hearts on the lives that were lost, the families who experienced unimaginable grief, and the many first responders and ordinary people who demonstrated extraordinary courage and compassion.
On this day of remembrance, may we honor those who were lost by choosing kindness over division, compassion over fear, and service over self-interest. May we also pray for those who continue to carry the wounds and memories of that day. Let's pray for peace, healing, and unity in our communities and our nation.
May God comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who serve, and guide us to be people of hope, love, and peace.
This Sunday, the great family of Oakwood will gather for services at 9am and 11am. Please choose your time and join us here! It will be a shock to our system to not have the worship center packed but we love the fact that we have room to grow! Be ready to participate in worship (don't let it be a dead room) and bring your Bibles (or gadget)! Join us after the second service for baptisms at Stony Lake in Oxford (important to encourage and show support for those being baptized).
See you Sunday!!
God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
