Hello Great Family,

It is definitely Fall!  Beautiful colors on the trees with damp, cold, cloudy skies.  It is also definitely Fall around Oakwood.  "Mount Candy" is growing in my office which means it is time for Oakwood's annual Harvest Festival.  It will all happen on Sunday, October 30th.  The event starts at 3:30pm with a presentation by the Stand Strength Team!  Here is what you need to be doing to participate this year:

  • Sign-up at the Oak to Serve - We need trunks for the Trunk-or-Treat portion!  Pick-up the information sheet on expectations when you sign-up.
  • Promote...Promote...Promote!!  Send out the flyer (attached) on social media and hand-out to everyone you know.  This our only way to promote this event.  We need you!!!
  • Donate candy to help "Mount Candy" grow

Another BIG thing happening the fall ot Oakwood...The WALL is shrinking!  Your special giving toward this goal has been very encouraging!  Thank you for helping us head toward financial freedom so that we can accomplish new ministry initiatives!

This Sunday is going to be awesome!  People will be baptized!  People will be joining our church as new members!  Romans will be preached!  Worship will point us to Jesus!  Fellowship will be sweet!  I'm looking forward to this Sunday...come join me here!
